The Origin of Kim’s Finds

My husband, Brad, and I struggle with an addictive habit that we cultivated years ago, particularly in grad school…spending hours and hours on our computers. “Did you find the end of the internet, honey?”  That used to be a joke in our household. However, now it is not so funny. With a nine month old daughter, a marriage to support, and daily tasks to accomplish both at home and at work, spending hours on the internet reading Babies R Us reviews is just not helpful to our family.  Yet, we are self-admitted information junkies, and I, particularly, want to know all the details about things being used to care for my child. Here lies the inspiration for Kim’s Finds. With that, this guide is not to imply that Motherhood is simply about buying products.  In fact, I would love to free time for others by offering condensed, “filtered” Mommy data (supported by thoughtful research , not just one Mom’s likes and dislikes), so that we all might spend more of our lives processing what really matters… time with our families.
